Serene Flow is a program devoted to cultivating peace and resilience. We believe humanity’s greatest need lies in expanding consciousness, enabling us to grow individually and collectively as a species. True peace begins within; when one person embodies peace, it ripples outward to inspire harmony in the surrounding world.

Our mindfulness approach emphasizes pausing, meditating, and taking action. It is grounded in a deep understanding of the mind, human behavior, and our combined expertise as seasoned meditators and dedicated professionals.

My Story

Now, I can say that I am more aware of this beautiful life. I have learned that I am the only one responsible for my happiness. Today, I trust myself and a divine balance in the universe more and more. Each day, I am grateful for having what I need. I feel privileged to live a life full of love, family and friends, health, comfort, and meaningful experiences.

However, it hasn’t always been this way. Imagine this as a flashback to an uncomfortable journey, one that involved confronting my mind and emotions. Twelve years ago, I was not the person I am today. My mind was not my ally; in fact, it felt like my enemy. At the time, I had a stable job, earned a good income, had a boyfriend, and was in love. From the outside, it seemed like I had everything to be happy—or so I thought.

But life is implacable; it gives us what we need. Falls, problems, heartbreaks, and tragedies are chapters of life we all want to avoid, but no one is exempt. We all need to fall to learn how to rise again. We live in a world of dualities - light and darkness, beauty and ugliness. One cannot exist without the other. This idea of duality was very difficult for me to understand. I divorced my first husband and the anxiety was overflowing, feeling a pressure in my chest I didn’t recognize as anxiety. I felt the urge to escape and seek distractions such as partying, alcohol, and so on. I am a perfectionist, an aspect I have to deal with daily, those who are perfectionists will understand me, it is not easy to deal with a mind that looks like an internal mean auditor criticizing your every move. Anxiety and perfectionism have been my shadow, my shortcomings, but I didn't know it at the time.

One day, sick and tired of everything, I just wanted to calm my mind and feel more serene. So, I sought help. Although I wasn’t sure what I was looking for, I tried everything: psychologist, consulting tarot cards, an astrological chart, etc. Eventually, my search led me to yoga and meditation. At first, I had no idea what yoga and meditation were truly about. Meditation felt like something reserved for monks in the Himalayas. I didn’t think I would enjoy it—I’ve always been active and sporty, and meditation seemed too slow. But I was seeking peace and was willing to try anything.

I will never forget my first yoga class with my master Satyadev. That 90-minute session, which included asanas and 20 minutes of meditation, left me feeling like I was floating on a cloud. I left the class relaxed, inspired, and certain that I wanted to do it again.

I believe I "woke up" when my Yoga teacher explained this during a Patanjali Sutras course: “You are not your mind; you are the awareness behind it”. That blows my mind, at that moment I was completely identified with my mind as myself. It changed my point of view and started a never-ending desire to learn and understand the mind more each day. Yoga and meditation taught me to see life differently. Gradually and very slowly, I began to incorporate a daily practice. However, I stopped and started countless times—it took me several years, and I still struggle, some days are difficult and the trials of life never end, but now, at least, I have a north, I am following the light of my conscience, I want to be more aware, to be calmer, and to be more humble every day.
Thanks to my teachers, yoga classes, workshops, retreats, books, videos, articles, and so on, I came to understand that living consciously leads to profound, lasting transformation. It’s a never-ending journey with no final destination. I learned that true happiness comes from inner peace and freedom. One phrase has stayed with me: “Around a peaceful person, there will be peace”. I believe that seeking inner peace is a responsibility we all share—to contribute to a more harmonious world.

After years of learning Yoga and meditation, and exploring paths like Tai Chi, Qigong, Mindfulness, Pilates, and energy practices, I realized that everyone must find their own truth. There is no absolute truth or one-size-fits-all solution. All these holistic practices share a common essence: consciousness, values, body, mind, spirit, energy, and discipline. What matters is finding what resonates with you and not giving up. I discovered that the greatest challenge lies in making these practices a habit.

I still have a long way to go, but today, my anxiety feels more "mastered," and my perfectionism is more balanced. I continue my morning practice, learn something new daily, and seek deeper connections with all beings and Mother Earth. I feel more connected with that invisible force that permeates all things, and more joyful as each day passes. Challenges will never end, sometimes I fall, but then I face them with increasing compassion and kindness with myself and others.
I hope my story helps you understand that we are all walking the same path, connected, and evolving together. With Serene Flow program I want to sow the seed of consciousness. I dream of creating a ripple effect—one peaceful mind at a time—that reaches families, communities, and even nations. I hope it becomes a safe space for people to explore their inner worlds and build habits that transform their lives. I hope to contribute to the ongoing revolution of mental evolution.

With love, Nathalia.
